Prestige Class passengers can utilize the dedicated Prestige/SkyPriority check-in counters. (If you have no checked baggage and want to skip the counters, you can simply complete online check-in to get a mobile boarding pass or use a kiosk.) On the day of my flight, Counter 34 was designated for Prestige/SkyPriority check-in. Since I had already completed mobile check-in and only needed to drop my bags, I was served immediately and checked my luggage without any wait, despite there being only one priority counter open.

When checking in my bags, I asked the agent about international-to-domestic baggage transfer at Gimpo Airport. I was informed that even when transferring from an international arrival to a domestic flight at Gimpo, passengers must pick up their luggage and recheck it for the domestic leg. This rule applies even if both flights are booked under a single ticket, so travelers transferring from international to domestic flights at Gimpo should plan accordingly. Additionally, if you book your domestic connection separately after a Korean Air international flight, presenting your same-day international arrival ticket allows your domestic connection checked baggage allowance to match the international segment. For instance, if you travel from Tokyo Haneda (HND) to Seoul Gimpo (GMP) in Prestige Class and connect to Jeju in Prestige Class, presenting your HND-GMP ticket allows you to check up to two bags weighing 32 kg each on the domestic segment, rather than the standard 30 kg limit. However, please note that this is not an officially published policy by Korean Air and is subject to change.

The old aircraft, narrow seat width, and small meal portions were a letdown, but considering the lounge access and free seat selection benefits, it was a totally acceptable flight.
