Hotel Review
🗓️ Mar 2026 Stay | 🌏 Seoul, South Korea | 🛏️ Standard Twin
7/10 (🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑) Located right in front of Seodaemun Station with great access to Gwanghwamun, Jongno, and Mapo, it was a decent business hotel with clean and practical rooms. The breakfast and service were standard, but the small rooms, lackluster facilities, parking issues, and some room details were limitations.
🗓️ Feb 2026 Stay | 🌏 Seoul, South Korea | 🛏️ Standard King with View
8/10 (🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑) This was a well-rounded Courtyard, best known for its views of the Seoul Botanic Park and convenient access to Magongnaru Station. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, breakfast was decent, and Marriott elite benefits made the stay even more rewarding. With only a modest range of facilities, it worked better as a base for exploring the surrounding area than as a destination for a full hotel staycation.
🗓️ Feb 2026 Stay | 🌏 Incheon, South Korea | 🛏️ Standard Single with Shower
7/10 (🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑) The biggest advantage of this Incheon Airport capsule hotel was being able to rest without leaving the airport. While the room was small and the shared bathroom was a limitation, it was a very practical choice for resting a few hours before an early departure or after a late-night arrival.
🗓️ Jan 2026 Stay | 🌏 Boston, MA, USA | 🛏️ Luxury Suite
6/10 (🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑) The central location in downtown Boston was great, but considering the Ritz-Carlton name and the $500+ price tag, the overall satisfaction was mixed. The spacious suite and in-room dining were decent, but the outdated room, paid facilities, and lack of service details were disappointing.
🗓️ Dec 2025 Stay | 🌏 Jozankei, Japan | 🛏️ Deluxe Twin
8/10 (🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑) It was a satisfying modern ryokan equipped with a private open-air bath in the room, excellent large public baths, private reservable baths, and various free snacks. The dinner had a long dining time and some underwhelming dishes, but considering the clean facilities, hot springs, and the relaxing atmosphere of the mountain-view room, it was a great stay to recharge.
🗓️ Mar 2025 Stay | 🌏 Seoul, South Korea | 🛏️ Courtyard Suite
8/10 (🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑) While the location at the far west of Seoul might be polarizing, the accessibility to Magongnaru Station and Seoul Botanic Park, the spacious Courtyard Suite upgrade, and free breakfast and coffee passes made this Courtyard highly satisfying, especially for Marriott Elite members. The fundamentals of the hotel itself were also very solid.
🗓️ Apr 2023 Stay | 🌏 Daejeon, South Korea | 🛏️ Premier Corner
As Daejeon's only 5-star hotel, the panoramic views, spacious Premier Corner Room, satisfying breakfast, and Shinsegae connection were definite highlights. However, the cumbersome parking, limited check-in counters, and poor service response left something to be desired.
